Beecher Carlson Hires Michael Newman as Senior Vice President

Beecher Carlson Holdings, Inc., today announced the hiring of Michael Newman, CPCU, CLU as Senior Vice President, focusing on large account sales.Newman brings to Beecher Carlson more than 20 years of risk management information systems RMIS, insurance brokerage sales and underwriting experience. He has worked with numerous clients throughout the Southeast.
Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Newman served for five years as Vice President of Sales with RiskLabs, a leading RMIS provider to major U.S. companies. He also worked for 11 years with Pritchard & Jerden, an Atlanta insurance brokerage firm, as a Vice President of Sales and then as President. Michael began his career as an underwriter with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
Newman earned a BBA in Risk Management from the University of Georgia and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
