Daniel L. Richards

Mr. Richards has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Rescue since he founded the Company in 2004.
Mr. Richards has a dozen years of experience investing in, financing and building private companies. He previously was a private equity investor at Thomas Weisel Capital Partners LLC, the $1.3 billion private equity affiliate of Thomas Weisel Partners, where he evaluated and invested in business services and healthcare companies. He also served in various investment and finance positions at Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, a $450 million Chicago-based private equity fund, Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, a global investment bank, and in the leveraged finance division of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Over the last decade, he has been involved in financings and private equity investments for more than 30 companies.
Mr. Richards is a graduate of Middlebury College where he played varsity football, rugby and was a competitive powerlifter. He received his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
