Mr. Cohen is a partner in the Pittsburgh office of K&L Gates where he co-chairs the firm’s e-Discovery Analysis & Technology (e-DAT) Group. Mr. Cohen’s commercial litigation practice is concentrated in e-discovery issues, technology and intellectual property litigation, insurance coverage, real estate and other complex litigation, and appeals . Mr. Cohen joined K&L Gates in 1983. He served as an adjunct professor at Duquesne Law School in 1996 and 1997. Mr. Cohen has authored numerous legal publications and is a frequent presenter at Continuing Legal Education seminars regarding e-discovery, technology, insurance coverage, and litigation tactics.

A pro hac vice admission permits an attorney to represent a client in court in a particular matter, in a state where the attorney is not otherwise admitted to practice. Mr. Cohen has been admitted pro hac vice to courts in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Washington, and West Virginia, in connection with particular litigation matters.
