In addition to leadership and client responsibilities at Beecher Carlson, Joe Siech serves as Executive Managing Director for Tribal Nation Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Beecher Carlson that provides exclusive and innovative risk management and insurance solutions to Tribal Nations. Based in Atlanta, Joe leverages his 20 years of industry experience to protect Tribal communities right to self-governance. In this role, Joe works closely with insurance companies to develop an understanding of Indian country in an effort to positively expand market options and underwriting expertise to best protect and differentiate the superior risk profile that Tribal municipalities and commercial exposures represent.TNIS provides client support for critical Tribal insurance and risk management matters that include Tribal judiciary advisory on state compacts, tribal ordinances, external contracts and insurance claims advocacy, with a specialized focus on claims where invocation of sovereign immunity becomes topical.
Joe started his career as an underwriter for Arkwright Mutual before moving into client production, where he developed and serviced a large book of risk management clients for Hobbs Group, which became HRH in 2004. Joe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and marketing.
