Senior Managing Director - Property

Simpson serves as Senior Managing Director of Beecher Carlson’s National Property Practice. In this role, Simpson leads the Practice nationally and is responsible for the design, development and implementation of risk management programs for complex property exposures. 

Simpson has 18 years experience in the insurance industry. He has been nominated for Risk and Insurance Magazine’s Power Broker multiple times and has been named to the Top 40 Under 40. He is known as an industry leader and is often quoted in various industry publications.

Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Simpson served as Executive Vice President and National Practice Leader for Willis HRH’s North American Property Practice. Prior to that, Simpson served as Executive Vice President of HRH’s National Property Practice, a position he held since July 2004. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Eastern Area Property Marketing Manager; Assistant Vice President, Property Marketing Associate Risk Analyst; Assistant Vice President and Risk Analyst for Hobbs Group. 

Simpson is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business where he earned his BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. He has also achieved his Associate in Risk Management (ARM). 

Simpson’s achievements include being recognized as a Top Performer at Hobbs Group every year, being named to HRH’s Rainmaker Top Performer list for four consecutive years and being named Power Broker by Risk & Insurance in 2011. He is recognized as a thought leader for his insight and perspective on property risk management and is often quoted in industry publications.
