Feasibility Consulting

What Works

Through a feasibility study, Beecher Carlson can help you assess the potential cost savings and operational advantages of various alternative risk options. By examining your current program and historical loss experience, we can outline the specific components including costs required to operate an alternative market program and compare it to your traditional commercial options. We include a step-by-step process for implementing a self-insurance funding mechanism, describing and quantifying elements such as the management, claims administration, loss control, regulatory filing, actuarial, legal and financial services required.

Beecher Carlson Gives You Options When it Comes to Your Feasibility Study

Feasibility studies come in two forms:
  • Design Feasibility Meeting. At the end of this intensive, day-long meeting with our senior consultants and industry experts, you will have a solid understanding of the feasibility of a captive or other self-insurance device. We will narrow the many design elements and formation options, and will develop a five-year business plan to aid in marketing and licensure.
  • Formal Feasibility Study. This written report is ideal for presentations to senior management, to stockholders or other potential participants in the project. The formal feasibility study includes an exhaustive analysis of the current program and alternative market options.
