Brad Darr

Brad serves as National Casualty Practice Leader. Brad has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, 32 of which have been spent working in the brokerage sector. Brad’s main focus has been leading service teams responsible for the management, design, marketing, servicing, and coordination of all casualty, including professional liability, programs for Beecher Carlson.

He is also experienced in working with clients who have captives/RRGs and international risks. Brad has serviced the world’s largest gaming-entertainment companies, the largest for-profit acute care hospital operators in the United States, the largest managed care organization in the United States, the leading ambulatory surgery center/surgical hospital company in the United States, and one of the premier global automobile manufacturers. The common theme of all clients serviced has been the need for complex program design including alternative risk financing and service team structure involving professionals located in various office and practice groups throughout the Beecher Carlson enterprise.

Brad graduated from Simpson College with a BA in Business Administration. He has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS).
