Erin Lynch

Erin is President of Beecher Carlson’s Global Energy Practice. She is responsible for leading a practice of seasoned professionals dedicated to delivering customized risk management and insurance solutions to the power generation sector. Erin takes pride in developing risk mitigation strategies for her clients with emerging power generation exposures, most notably in the renewable energy sector.

She has developed insurance and risk management solutions for warranty and performance guarantee exposures, as well as lack-of-resource products and alternative risk transfer solutions. A licensed insurance broker, Erin has earned her Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation from the National Underwriting Company. She was named Power Broker twice in the Energy & Utility division by Risk and Insurance Magazine, and was a finalist for Young Broker of the Year at the 2013 Insurance Insider Honours in London. Most recently, Erin was honored as a 2017 Women to Watch Honoree by Business Insurance.

Erin joined the Beecher Carlson Global Energy Practice in 2006 after spending two years as a Risk Management Account Executive at Willis. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism, and spent the first five years of her career as a broadcast journalist.
